Pneumatic Tubing Spider Model C
Arabian Drilling Tools manufactures Pneumatic Tubing Spider, commonly known as Model C Spiders. Pneumatic Tubing Spider are designed to handle tubulars ranging from 1.315” to 5.1/2” with a capacity of up to 100 tons. Operated pneumatically via a foot pedal, they ensure the safety of the operator during tripping operations.
Our Tubing Spiders comply strictly with API-7K Specifications and hold a valid API-7K License. Constructed from high-grade alloy steel, each spider undergoes heat treatment to enhance durability and mechanical properties. The design includes hardened alloy steel shafts for extended life, replaceable steel bushings in the journal bearings, and grease fittings for easy lubrication. Air cylinders and foot valves are mist-lubricated through the airstream, ensuring smooth operation.
A manually operated safety latch locks the slips in place, preventing accidental release. The spiders are protected by guards to prevent damage and are designed for use on a rotary table with an adapter plate, allowing manual rotation and versatile use. Tubing Spider Model E
Arabian Drilling Tools presents the Tubing Spider Model E, engineered to handle tubulars ranging from 2.3/8” to 8.5/8”. This versatile spider can be operated both manually and pneumatically, with a robust load capacity of 200 tons.
With a valid API-7K License, our Tubing Spiders are manufactured in strict compliance with API-7K specifications. Constructed from high-grade alloy steel, each spider undergoes heat treatment to enhance its mechanical properties. We ensure top quality through rigorous testing, including tensile tests, impact tests, magnetic particle inspections, and proof load tests. Our spiders are subjected to strict inspections to guarantee that only the best products reach our customers.
Years of experience in manufacturing have allowed us to refine our spiders’ mechanical properties, making the Tubing Spider Model E a user-friendly and reliable tubing spider. Tubing Spider Model E can be used on a rotary table with an adapter plate that fits into the square drive master bushing or pin drive master bushing, centering the spider on the rotary table. This also allows for manual rotation of the spider.
