Arabian Drilling Tools manufactures Tubing Spiders in strict accordance with the latest API-7K Specification. Built from heat-treated alloy steel, our spiders provide maximum strength and longevity while maintaining minimal weight. The shafts are made of hardened alloy steel for extended life, and replaceable steel bushings are fitted into the journal bearings. All bearings and journals are equipped with grease fittings for lubrication.
Air cylinders and foot valves are mist-lubricated through the airstream, and each spider includes a manually operated safety latch to securely lock the slips in place. The design ensures the slips cannot be released from the tubing until lifted by the elevators, preventing accidental loss of the string. Slips, shafts, and air operating mechanisms are protected by guards against damage from elevators or other external forces.
Our Pneumatic Spiders come in five models: “C”, “CHD”, “E”, and “G”. These models are designed for manual, compressed air, or hydraulic operation, except Model “G,” which is for compressed air or hydraulic operation only. All our spiders can be used on a rotary table with an adapter plate, centering the Spider and allowing manual rotation. Models “C” and “CHD” can pass parallel strings of tubing and include a Gate Section for running an electric submersible pump cable alongside any size tubing string.

CHD Tubing Spider
Arabian Drilling Tools introduces the Model CHD Tubing Spider, designed to handle tubulars ranging from 1.315” to 5.1/2”. This versatile spider can be operated both manually and pneumatically, with a load capacity of 125 tons.
Our Tubing Spiders are manufactured in strict compliance with API-7K specifications, supported by a valid API-7K License. Each spider is crafted from high-grade alloy steel and undergoes heat treatment to enhance its mechanical properties. We ensure top quality through extensive testing, including tensile tests, impact tests, magnetic particle inspections, and proof load tests, among others. Our stringent inspection process guarantees that only the best products reach our customers.
With years of experience in manufacturing, we have refined our spiders’ mechanical properties, making the Model CHD a user-friendly and reliable tubing spider. This spider can be used on a rotary table with an adapter plate that fits into the square drive master bushing or pin drive master bushing, centering the spider on the rotary table. This design also allows for manual rotation of the spider.
Pneumatic Tubing Spider Model C
Arabian Drilling Tools manufactures Pneumatic Tubing Spider, commonly known as Model C Spiders. Pneumatic Tubing Spider are designed to handle tubulars ranging from 1.315” to 5.1/2” with a capacity of up to 100 tons. Operated pneumatically via a foot pedal, they ensure the safety of the operator during tripping operations.
Our Tubing Spiders comply strictly with API-7K Specifications and hold a valid API-7K License. Constructed from high-grade alloy steel, each spider undergoes heat treatment to enhance durability and mechanical properties. The design includes hardened alloy steel shafts for extended life, replaceable steel bushings in the journal bearings, and grease fittings for easy lubrication. Air cylinders and foot valves are mist-lubricated through the airstream, ensuring smooth operation.
